Birmingham is a well-established investment hotspot. Developments such as the new library – the biggest in Europe, the redevelopment of Birmingham New Street which is changing perceptions of people who arrive in the city, the huge redevelopment of Paradise Circus, the Prestigious £150 million Resorts World Birmingham development near the airport and the planned arrival of HS2 in 2026 are all massive projects that are catching the eye of investors.
With Birmingham only being 100 miles outside of London but with a cost of living that is significantly lower, there is little wonder that serious investors are now looking outside of the capital. It’s cheaper to live, shop, eat and drink in Birmingham and this is making more people move to the city.
