Tenancies that began on or after June 1st 2019

Late payment of rent

This is in line with the Tenant Fees Act 2019 where interest is charged at 3% above the Bank of England's annual % rate for each day that the payment is outstanding.

Tenant exchange £50

If you wish to make a change to your tenancy agreement a charge may apply.

Early termination of contract

You are liable for rent until the end of your tenancy agreement or until a new tenant moves in, whichever takes place quicker. You will also be charged any financial loss that the landlord will suffer in permitting the early termination, or the reasonable costs incurred by the agent for arranging an early termination of a tenancy.

Replacement of keys

You will be responsible for covering the reasonable costs of replacement keys.

Late return of keys

You will be charged your day rent fee and any reasonable costs incurred by the landlord.
